Not only am I following Joe of joesburgersearch.com on Facebook and Twitter but about every week I find myself following an instinctual craving from deep within my belly’s brain that takes me to one of those awesome burger places Joe talks about on his website. Yesterday my friend Mark Stenner (Mark if you read this please give your input) and I hit up Bill’s Jumbo Burgers where we had some amazing old school burgers that where big and beefy. I had the 2/3 pound “Big Red” with everything on it, including my onions grilled in. Mark had one of the smaller burgers that you can see in the video below. My burger was delicious, although a little well done it hit still the spot. The fries where also well done, but that is how I like them.

If you are looking for a unique burger place in Tulsa I recommend this place for a lunch break, day time date (if she doesn’t mind a little greasiness…) or better yet a father/son outing. Since this place only has about eight seats inside I recommend an early or late lunch. Everything is cooked when ordered and the beef comes out super hot and crispy on the edges.

I hadn’t been to Bill’s in a number of years so I was only too happy to return with you Brian. The place hasn’t changed one bit, and that is what I love about it. It’s true to itself. The burger was as good as I remember if a little over-done (I prefer mine with a pink middle), and the fries were good and crispy. I like fries in all styles as long as they are cooked properly. Bill’s certainly deservs its place in Tulsa’e elite burger joints….

Hey guys if you wanted them pink in the middle you should have told us. We’ll cook them the way you want them. Otherwise it’s to160 degrees like the health dept. says.
