Hi, my name is David Christopher I’m a journalist living in Tulsa and I’ve setup a new website called Tulsa Restaurant Deals. I’ll be posting frequent updates on Twitter, Facebook and right here on Tulsa Food Blog Talk, keeping you up to date with all of the cheapest restaurant deals in our fair city. I’ll also let you know how our readers are rating and reviewing T-town’s restaurant deals, so you can hit the best and skip the rest. My wallet feels fatter already.
To get your mouth watering here are three of my favorite current deals:
1) A feast for two that’s big enough for four.
Billy Ray’s BBQ > $15.99 Dinner For Two $15.99 Dinner For Two (5 Ribs, 2 Pieces of Catfish, Half a Chicken, 5 Sides and Pickles, Pepper, Onion and Bread), Tuesday-Saturday 11am-8pm
2) Something cheesy and romantic
The Melting Pot > Half Price Cheese and Chocolate Fondues (2 For $16), Monday-Sunday 5-7pm
3) Enjoy the Indian Summer with great burgers on a lively patio.
Full Moon Cafe > $3 Burger and Fries, $4 Cheeseburger and Fries, Thursday 4-10:30pm
Our site is brand new, it’s barely out of its wrapping, so if you have any comments or suggestions feel free to post them here. It’s early days, our service could almost certainly be improved so any feedback would be appreciated.
And a BIG thanks to Brian and the Tulsa Food Blog for all of your support.
Eat well, eat local.

I hear Moonsky’s is good from some other reviews. Out of the list I wanna try that one just because Ive never really heard much about in. Is it really inside a Daylight Donuts? If so that’s cool!

I wonder if they will make me a burger with the bun replaced by a donut?

That would be awesome! I am so down for some of that! Bring it!

Freddie’s Frozen Custard makes an excellent burger, they’re thin, but very juicy, and the fries are excellent as well.
Arnold’s is great too, and walking into Arnold’s is like going back in time! Be sure to get the onion rings!

Debbie, thanks for the tip on the onion rings at Arnold’s. Would have hated to miss that. I’m also looking forward to Freddie’s juicy thin burger.

As I told Brian the other evening I love Harden’s. Both are excellent althought the one of 5th and Sheridan can be a little hit and miss. It was very hit and miss about two years ago. I prefer the location at German Corner in Owasso, 116th and N. Garnett. It’s a drive from mid-town but it’s a solid burger.
Another hidden gem is Shorty’s in Turley. 66th and N. Peoria. Love the fried okra there!

Nice, I’ve never been to Shorty’s. Have you had it Joe? Can’t wait to try that one too! Thanks Mark!

I haven’t heard of Shorty’s in Turley. Sounds like a short road trip could be in my future.

I just returned from Harden’s in Owasso. Not happy. Burger was overcooked badly and for third time in a row they added mustard!… it’s lucky they have credit with me for many satisfying burgers in years past…..

I like Harden’s a lot! I am going to have to try them a few more times before I can say whether I like them more or less then Claud’s. I hear that I have to try Webber’s again too….at this point my feelings on them are blaaaaaah!
Mark 1:28 pm on October 23, 2009 Permalink |
I need to revisit Claud’s. I havent been in five years so it is high time. And Webber’s too. Back to back!

I am so down to do that! I wonder if Joe would too! It would be a cross street burger throw down!!!!! Bring it!
