Admission to the festival is free – all day, every day.
This new annual Tulsa tradition is a celebration of award-winning barbeque ribs, with seven teams from across the country showcasing their championship recipes on the streets outside the arena. These professional “pitmasters” (who have been featured on the Travel Channel, Discovery Channel and Food Network) compete around the world and pride themselves on their cooking techniques, secret recipes, and unique barbeque sauces and rubs.
In addition to barbeque ribs, beef, shrimp, catfish, chicken, and a variety of delicious concessions will be available. Sno cones, grilled corn, funnel cake, popcorn, cotton candy, corn dogs, deep-fried pickles, taco salads, kettle corn, smoothies and fresh-squeezed limeade will be for sale. A selection of soft drinks will be offered, along with margaritas, mixed drinks, wine and beer for guests over 21 years of age.
LIVE COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS
The Curtis Culinary Stage will feature free live cooking demonstrations from the legendary pitmasters as well as local restaurant chefs. Wanting to make outstanding barbecue at home?
