A Star is Born: The Meatloaf Sandwich at The Kitchen on Brookside

A few weeks back after reading reviews by Brian Schwartz about The Kitchen restaurant on Brookside we had to hit this Tulsa hot spot.

We decided to try lunch. The star of our lunch experience was the meatloaf sandwich. This sandwich includes Center 1 meatloaf (Which is famous around Tulsa), farmhouse cheddar, arugula and mayonnaise. The way the cheese is melted on the meatloaf locks in flavors in a way that will surprise you once you take a bite. I also recommend ordering the Center 1 meatloaf for takeout.

They also serve lunch every day until 5 PM (on Sunday, it’s brunch till 2 PM), but the amazing dishes described above only appear after five.
