A Stella Pint for $5.50? Corona bottle for $4.50? Shiner for $4? I've been to pubs all over the world and it's when I'm in Tulsa that I pay some of the highest beer prices? It doesn't make any sense. Hideaway Pizza sells a huge Stella for $4.25. I love McNellie's food and my buddies and I would love to go there more often, but I refuse to pay the same price for a beer in Tulsa, OK that I would pay for a beer in Berlin, Germany or New York City. And at a per ounce price, it's about equivalent to what I paid for a beer in Sydney, Australia two months ago. If there's a legitimate reason as to why the beer prices at McNellie's are so high, I just want to know. If it's just to pay rent and make more money, then I'll continue to take my business elsewhere. It's just sad because I honestly love the food at McNellie's, but I feel like I'm getting ripped off when it comes to the beer prices.
