Simple, done right, that’s what I look for in the best of fried chicken! Seasoned with only the basics and then fried to order. Fried chicken this good is worth the extra few minutes, but beware it comes out piping hot.
In an attempt of combining two awesome things, Fried Chicken and Segway, we set off by way of Segway only to find that we where not going to fit in the door. Check out the video below to see what happens.

We were looking for the perfect fried chicken experience and that is what we found at Wanda J’s off Elm in Broken Arrow.
Oh, yeah! Check out the chicken fried steak…. might be the best you ever had! We will return to investigate! From the single bite I had it was OMG!

It is some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. It also was so hot, I couldn’t even begin to eat it for about 10 minutes. Great stuff and well worth the wait for good food!

I’m glad to see Wanda J’s is as good as it was when I visited. I haven’t been there in over a year.

I’ve been to Wanda J’s several times and the service has been as good as the food. The chicken fried steak is as good as it gets and that is very good. The fried chicken is great and you get so many filets on your first plate of Fridays all you can eat Catfish you probably can’t eat anymore. They cook your dinner after you order it so you do have to wait a bit, not to worry, it’ s worth the wait.

My friend & I had lunch at Wanda J’s today. Not only was the staff fun & friendly, the fried chicken was amazing!!! Delicious, home style cooking and very reasonable prices. We will drive from Owasso to Broken Arrow again to eat this food. Wish we had something this good in our home town.
