Here at TulsaFood.com…we’re just a collective group of Foodies that get together to talk casually about Tulsa food. We eat and write and embarrass ourselves as we snap pictures of our food in public.

I have to admit…one of my favorite foods to photograph is the cheeseburger. In its glory, there is no better feeling than chomping on a burger that’s hot off the grill,  all charred up, with melting cheese and a little fatty grease overflow from the medium rare center.

I can hear that inner fat man screaming “Get in my belly” with each bite of every flavorful morsel. And, as you know, when that inner fat man talks, I’ve got to listen.

As some of you know, last week was National Cheeseburger Day. Ok, it’s not up there with Flag Day or Granparent’s Day, but for us Foodies, it’s a sacred burger event.

I was on the lookout for the perfect burger to hookup with. You know, one that would take me out of reality. So, flavorful, I would ascend into burger bliss. A champion of cheeseburger champions…my personal

Burger of the Year. Found it! Just look at it: it’s a double bacon cheeseburger from Brewburger, with all your normal toppings, plus, a little extra think mayonnaise. Isn’t she wonderful?

When I ordered, I just asked for the double meat, bacon cheeseburger… medium rare and cooked with passion. After about 10 mins, the table was  graced with this beautiful burger.

Go Double…it’s a beautiful thing!
