We are hosting the Rehersal dinner in spring 2012 and I am looking for suggestions for a venue. Since we have so many out of town guest we are including them for the dinner. Our party will be 50-60 guest.

I would prefer a restaurant rather than a hotel banquet room. I looked at Shogun yesterday because i thought that would be alot of fun. I just don’t like that we’d be so seperated from each other.

I’d love a “fun” place to eat- but also want to be able to talk to each other and be able to give the toasts.

Any suggestion?

Hello…we are frequently looking for a good restaurant for fish…trying to be healthier. We do go to Bodean’s often but trying to find something different. Any ideas out there? Obviously price isn’t a criteria as we know good fish can be pricey.

I often work past ten PM during the week and by that point there are very few options. I’ve heard that Leon’s and some other kitchens are open past that point. It would be really nice to have a late night eaters guide to Tulsa.

We will be in Tulsa this May. Arriving at the airport around noon and looking for a restaurant for lunch before driving to Stillwater.

I know this is Tulsa FOOD, but I certainly put drinks and anything ingested with that:P Working on planning my wedding in September; really do our own thing. I had been thinking about what we could toast with other then wine and thought since I love it and its the sorta fall a hard cider would be great. However I know that just like beers there are TONS of ciders and I imagine there might be some at least relatively locally made. Would love to get a few ideas of some good ones that we could buy and try out deciding which to use and who carries them/has the best selections. The help would be much appreciated.

Where can I find the best, or even decent, Lobster in the Tulsa area?

This is a question that has been asked of me several times this year, and for once I don’t have a good answer. If possible, I’d love to know your opinions. Ideally I’d like to have a top three, but one would suffice.

I found this spot a few weeks ago while making my daily drive down Peoria. Initially I was drawn in by the cute pink sign and thought I’d stop in. Nancy greeted me with a smile and happily gave me a to go menu, which is as cute at their sign! After looking it over I decided I HAD to try it.

Their menu isn’t filled with the usual Mexican fare we find in Tulsa, they have unique items like pumpkin enchiladas and stuffed jalapenos. The salsa they serve is even different than what you may find all over town, its chunky, more like a pico de gallo and they have a few other salsas if you just ask.

I highly recommend their tacos! Their carne asada and barbacoa are perfectly seasoned and their tacos are dressed authentically with cilantro and onion on a corn tortilla. You can join them on Tuesdays for their cleverly named “Juan” dollar taco night.
