We hope you are HUNGRY!!! In case you missed the Tulsa State Fair, and want another event to attend, Oktoberfest begins this week! The 2009 Tulsa Oktoberfest starts on Thursday, October 22nd, and continues through Sunday, October 25th. Oktoberfest is going on 31 years in Tulsa and has been honored nationally by USA Today and Bon Appetit Magazine for their food and more! This traditional German festival is full of awesome food, great beer, music, crafts, homemade goods, jewelry and other unique products. There is something for everyone at this annual event! Check it out, I know we will be there!

Admission for Adults is $5, with children 12 and younger admitted at no cost. Also, if you want to attend for FREE on Thursday night, print a coupon at: http://www.geekrescue.com/oktoberfest.html

Friday, October 23: 11:00 am – 11:30 pm
Saturday, October 24: 10:00 am – 11:30 pm
Sunday, October 25: 12:00 noon – 6:00 pm

Parking is available on Jackson Avenue across from the main festival site for $5 per car. Patrons may also use the shuttle services at a cost of $3 per day. Shuttles are available at the following locations:

    I can’t wait either! Haha…I know I look silly carrying a big pitcher of beer around, but I sure won’t be the only one!!!!!!
