Ladies Event at The Melting Pot – Benefit St. Jude [event]

January 13th, 2010 by Whitney Shae – Comments (0)

The Melting Pot at RiverWalk Crossing in Jenks invites Tulsa women to “get connected” to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the nation’s leading pediatric cancer research and treatment center, on Jan. 25, 2010, at iFondue, a high-tech, ladies-only benefit.

iFondue will feature a four-course fondue meal and Best Buy’s chic lines of cell phone, camera and computer accessories for women, which will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Best Buy representatives will attend the event and donate a portion of the evening’s electronics sales to St. Jude.  Guests can buy raffle tickets for a chance to win door prizes such as an iPod touch, a netbook, a digital camera and other gadgets, with all raffle proceeds also going to St. Jude.

Emmy-winning TV broadcaster Cindy Morrison will be the evening’s celebrity guest. Morrison’s soon-to-be-released book, “Girlfriends 2.0,” shares how women can reboot and update their “girlfriend networks” to survive and thrive in changing times. The book will be available for presale at iFondue, with a percentage of the evening’s sales benefiting St. Jude.

Event tickets are $50 per person, with $25 per ticket donated to St. Jude. Reservations are recommended and can be made starting at 5 p.m. by calling 299-8000.
