La Roma Pizza on Sheridan, in Tulsa, was a wonderful experience! My brother and I decided to try out La Roma Pizza after we had heard some buzz about how great their pizza is. We stopped in for lunch and decided to go with a pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. To start we had some hummus and pita bread, yes you’re reading this right, La Roma also serves Lebanese food. The combination was so interesting I had to text my Dad and tell him I was eating hummus, pizza and baklava. He was proud! Next time he visits we will defiantly take him to La Roma Pizza!

The pizza had excellent flavor and the crust was thin, but not too thin and baked to perfection. I really enjoyed the cheese over the toppings and the way the jalapeños were cut up. Overall it was an excellent pizza experience and who doesn’t love those? For dessert we each had two pieces of baklava and it was awesome!

Right as we were getting ready to leave my brother was speaking to the owner and as he was telling her that we really enjoyed the pizza and that we were part Lebanese, she just had to fix him up something special. When she brought out the kibbeh my brother eyes lit up and what a treat it was, of course I had to have some!

IMHO La Roma’s has the best pizza in Tulsa… The pizza isn’t as heavy and greasy as other pizza. I’ve eaten an entire large pizza and not felt bloated. Full yes, bloated no.

Their sausage and mushroom calzone and tabouli are the best around! Also EXCELLENT cabbage rolls! One of my favorite places in Tulsa.
