The Brook Restaurant Tulsa

June 4th, 2008 by Staff – Comments (7)

Most often called “The Brook“, the Brook Restaurant is set in an old movie house, with great American appeal.  It’s considered one of the best social hang-out spots on Tulsa’s “brookside.”  The fantastic food and great drinks keep this midtown hang-out filled with business people during the day and the party crowd at night.  Open almost every night of the week, the Brook offers a full-bar, an awesome indoor accompaniments, and even patio dining as weather permits.

They offer a private party room with plenty of space for all your friends and family to enjoy dinner, drinks, and mingling.  Make a reservation, or just stop by for an array of America-style food, happy hour, or just dinner with friends; it’s a great place to make memories.

Itâ??s a shame about the Penguin. I know a few of the guys from Kemp Mfg. on Voss were there every day.

I always wondered about the place while driving by. I just assumed the place was a bar and not really a place we can bring the family. I think I’ll try it out tonight.

South Tulsa Brooks was very bad experience. Sent back one complete meal due to the huge amount of seasoning salt poured over the fries and huge amount used in the chicken tenders. Sent my daughters fries back due to the same. Still payed for all of the food. Manager wasn’t willing to refund untill I got out of the bench and started walking out. I was so mad I just left. Will never enter this place again. Poor food quality and Very poor management

    TO BRAD –

I’d say that one reason they would have – does it not clearly state “seasoned fries” on their menu? I know personally I love those fries, and the menu seemed clear to me and anyone I’ve ever taken there on that fact.

I must say I agree, I love the fries… My sin is I ask for extra seasoning lol

Oh boy the people commenting here don’t really sound very happy with this place, even though you seemed to have love it, I have to agree if you go to a restaurant you really do expect good food and a friendly atmosphere and if you don’t have that why go back and spend money, I know I wont. I am just loving your blog as I am a huge food lover.

Ate there tonight. Service was good. Food was great.
Tuesday’s is Chicken Fried Chicken or Chicken Fried Steak dinners for $7.99. This is by far the best deal in town and probably the best Chicken fry in town. Batter is crispy and thin. Gravy has flavor. The salad alone can feed one. I never finish my entrée at the Brook.
