Chicory & Chives is a casual-style diner with tables, booths and metal coat racks still attached to the booths. They offer a daily lunch buffet and nice fresh salad bar. Some of their main entrees are Meatloaf on Mondays, Smoked Pork Chops on Tuesdays, Chicken on Wednesday (we prepare it different ways), Thursday is Chicken Fried Steak and Friday is Catfish. Other entrees include chicken and Dumplings, Three way spaghetti, Chicken and rice casserole, Chicken pot pie, Beef stew, Pepper beef, etc. People we talk to always comment on their brown beans which are a daily item on the buffet and are made with lots of ham, bacon and our blend of seasonings. The mashed potatoes, hash browns, and french fries are made fresh daily. Chicory & Chive’s burgers are hand formed from fresh hamburger daily and all their soups are homemade. The breakfast menu is extensive and is served all day as is the full menu. The traditional Louisiana Cajun items on the menu are a hot item and they are always adding more.
The Big Easy Burger with double meat (12oz), double cheese and double bacon. Fresh ground meat and hand form burgers served with fresh cut fried potatoes. The regular burger is 6oz.
The last Tuesday of each month has been the day for the Louisiana Shrimp (Crawfish when in season) Boil. Each month more people are marking their calendars for this event.
Hours are M-F 6:30am til 2:00pm with our $6.89 all you can eat lunch buffet from 11:00am til 2:00pm.
Saturday hours are 7:00am til Noon with Tulsa’s best and freshest breakfast buffet from 7:30am til Noon.

Thank you Tulsa food blog!!! I have been searching for a great Cajun food place in Tulsa! I have tried Big Easy by Woodland Hills, but got terrible service and the food was not that great. That bacon cheese burger looks amazingly succulent! I will definitely have to come there and try that whole slew of deliciously sounding awesomeness! Thanks Chicory & Chives for this visual stimulus package!

My son-in-law is cajun and he cooks for us whenever they are in town. I’m always looking for a place that can duplicate his homemade yumminess! We will be checking this place out.

I really liked their Saturday breakfast buffet. I have my calendar marked now for that crawfish/shrimp boil on the last Tuesday of the month. Also, not only does that burger look good but so do those fries.

The main entree on the buffet by day is: Monday – Meatloaf, Tuesday – Smoked Pork Chops, Wednesday – Chicken, Thursday – Chicken Fried Steak, Friday – Catfish. Also have homemade mashed potatoes, brown beans and corn bread. Veggies and a full salad bar are also included. The smiles from the staff are free

Ok you remember the old fashioned diners that seem to be disappearing faster than warm cookies out of the oven? Well Chicory & Chives is it. I sat down at lunch today and could not decide on what to eat. Everything was coming out of the kitchen looking SO GOOD. I stuck with my original plan of eating Gumbo and Etoufee…it was like straight out of the French Quarter!! AWESOME!!This was just a side bonus to the burgers with hand cut fries which are hard to come by these days….I think I found yet another regular spot…

Always great, fresh food!!! Always great service!! The burgers and fresh cut fries are awesome, but try the buffet as well. Not to mention the Cajun food. You have to try Jim’s version of Grillades.

I eat here on a daily basis during the work week. I have never been disappointed. The food is awesome. The atmosphere is comfortable. The staff are some of the friendliest you will encounter anywhere. You will feel at home from your very first visit. Jim, the owner, can be found walking about visiting with the customers and getting input on their visit and how they are enjoying their meal. Jim is even open to suggestions! You won’t go away hungry and you won’t be disappointed. Give them a try. Oh, the picture of the burger and fresh cut fries don’t do them justice. When they come out of that kitchen piping hot, taste so good make you want to go slap yo momma! Just kidding. They are delicious. You’ll just have to try it for yourself.
