Valentines Day is just around the corner and we at Tulsa Food want to give you the most bang for your buck this year. To help you out we have compiled our favorite romantic restaurants and gifts for each price range.

We love Flemings for dinner in this price range. Fleming’s is one of the most romantic restaurants in town with delicious food and romantic atmosphere sure to please your sweetheart. The steak and seafood are both superb. You cannot go wrong with Flemings. Reservations will be needed for Valentines Day though so plan ahead.

If you are looking for a wonderful gift for your sweetheart consider jewelry. Diamonds are always loved by women young and old and really cannot be beat. This may seem predictable but women still love it even if it is predictable.

The Garlic Rose is a wonderfully romantic place for the mid range budget. It is very intimate and the fireplace and warm candlelight make it a perfect place to fall in love. The delicious Italian food, including to die for bruschetta and decadent entrees are some of the best we’ve had in Tulsa. The Garlic Rose cannot be beat if you are looking for wonderful Italian this Valentines Day.

If you are looking to truly spoil your sweetheart consider a spa package. One of the great things about spa packages is that you can mix and match treatments according to your budgets. One of our favorite Tulsa spas is Spa Lux. They have a great assortment of treatments and make you feel so spoiled. They also happen to be running a Valentines Day special with a couple’s massage and a bottle of champagne. Visit their website for more information.

If you are looking for high romance but are short on cash consider making a picnic. This is wonderful whether you go to a park, a favorite place in town or simply have it in your living room. It is intimate and candlelight will make it unbelievably romantic. Whipping up your sweetheart’s favorite meal is always a winner. Cooking not a strength? Consider ordering your sweethearts favorite meal to go from a local restaurant whether it be Chick-Fil-A or Bellacinos. Make sure that the to-go food makes it onto the fine china before your sweetheart sees it though. Fine china will bump up the romance factor every time.

For those who are strapped for cash, we love the idea of building a bear together. Build a Bear is an inexpensive way for you to create a memorable experience, while giving your sweetheart a gift they are sure to remember. You can pick out a stuffed animal, have them stuff it and then dress it in a cute Valentines day outfit. A little secret to all you guys out there, even grown up girls love stuffed animals.
