Runt’s BBQ: Delicious flavor!

January 16th, 2009 by Brian McCullough – Comments (3)

On a business lunch we met at Runt’s BBQ. We got there right as they were opening up for lunch. The place was clearly popular because it filled up really quickly. I had the barbecue brisket sandwich and coleslaw. It was so good! The sandwich was very flavorful especially after I drenched it in their barbecue sauce. One of my associates had the ham and catfish plate, which looked really good. He polished the whole thing off! It was a good choice for a barbecue lunch.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, Runt’s has a smoked prime rib special on the menu. I’m not a big fan of prime rib normally, but smoked prime rib is a whole different story. It’s definately worth a try.

The original Muskogee branch is still open — and worth the drive!

The BA branch is closed, and will open in a few days as Gameday Tailgate Grill.
