It’s wonderful! Look at the huge slab of bacon I got the first time I ordered it…

That salad has been our least favorite thing on the menu there so far. However, I have nothing bad to say about anything we’ve tried. Their brunch is fantastic and my husband devoured his quail. And I dare say that their bread pudding is the best I’ve had. And that says a lot because I was sure no one could beat Charleson’s bread pudding.

My first trip to Smoke was almost marred by the fact that the wait staff took longer than I had anticipated to approach my table. They did pick up the slack afterward, getting the meal out in timely fashion.
The manchego fritters were recommended and did not disappoint. I owe that to the tasty sauces that accompanied these crispy fried balls of cheese, (okay, let’s call it by what it really is). Green tomato jam? Yum! I wanted to try the fish and chips, but was informed that they were out of the Salmon. This is a restaurant rookie mistake! If you have a popular item on your menu make sure you don’t run out of the product. The pulled pork tacos were suggested and I did try them; the pork had a sweet, smokey flavor. We decided to end our meal with the bread pudding. I was one of the better versions of bread pudding that I have tasted, but I am still partial to the bread pudding that Te Kei’s used to serve several years ago.

I have had the oyster nachos and they were good..my only complaint is that you can’t go here and eat any real apps in the evening and have a cigar..they don’t have ANYTHING really for one person to eat casually by the bar or in the cigar lounge on the menu at night…come on guys at least have ONE or TWO SMOKED Goodies for MEN that want REALY MEAT at night!
