Topeca Coffee is a family-owned roasting company with over 150 years of experience growing specialty, El Salvadoran coffee on the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano. Since 2001, they have focused their efforts on perfecting every step of the “Seed-to-Cup” process: first they grow and harvest the coffee beans on the family plantation in El Salvador, then they ship the beans to Tulsa where they roast them in their very own roastery.

Cosi was founded on the idea that If life is a journey, food is the fuel that lets us keep exploring what’s ahead. Good food will make that journey all the more delicious. Così is more than a restaurant, it is a constantly surprising, always delightful experience. A place where people gather to relax, dine and share their common belief that “Life Should Be Delicious®”. My favorite part is the open-flame oven located by the front of the restaurant. All of the bread is baked fresh in this oven throughout the day.

Shogun Steakhouse is a traditional Japanese hibachi steakhouse, which features the Japanese cooking method known as “Teppanyaki.” your meal is prepared fresh right before your eyes by our showman chefs. The business has been in the hands of the same family since day one and Shogun has been able to master and maintain two key elements; the quality and quantity of the food we serve. Known around Tulsa as the “Best Tasting Show in Town.”

Bellacino’s may be Tulsa’s only spot to get a real Grinder. With pizza, pastas and delicious hot sandwiches, Bellacino’s is a great place for delicious take-out or dining-in options. My personal favorite is the Chicago Steak Grinder with added Blue Cheese. I am looking forward to trying the pizzas, but everyone I have talked to raves about them. Check it out for yourself!!

After seeing those truffles, I might have to stop by Sweet Tooth! We plan on staying home and lazing about on Valentine’s Day. We’ll cook dinner for each other using all the great stuff we’ve picked up from The Stock Pot over the years. Attending one of their cooking classes would be a dream come true!

I’m celebrating Valentine’s Day with my fiancee. We’re going to have a seafood medley dinner of scallops and lobster tail with a great bottle of wine, a fire and soft music followed by some dancing.

Then maybe head back to my house for karaoke and some Topeca Coffee. Sounds like a wonderful Valentines day to me!

I’m playing the part of cupid for Valentine’s Day. I’ve made arrangements to keep my nephew over night while my BIL & sister go out for a dinner overnight date. Since I already had one sib’s child, I’m getting my brother’s kids too. We are planning to go out for chinese, maybe PF Changs, & finish up w/ a slumber party @ my place.

Well, this will be a tough Valentine’s Day for us as it is the first birthday for a family member who passed away just under a year ago. However, we will try to be positive and enjoy the day and the love and relationships we still have here!
I will start the day, like I do every weekend day, with Topeca Coffee. Then, in the spirit of the cooking classes at the Stock Pot, I will prepare a home made meal and cuddle up with our animals in front of a fire and just be grateful for all the love in our lives.

My husband and I will be cooking a very special Albanian meal. This is the second meal we are sharing in our Global Table series – we are literally making a meal from every country in the world… that’s 195, in 195 weeks. (http://globaltable.wordpress.com)The experience is bringing us together as we learn about other cultures
We are always hunting for great kitchen tools and ingredients around Tulsa, especially now that we are working on this project. I’ve been able to get my ravioli form and some other neat tools at the Stock Pot.
Happy Valentine’s Day and thank you for this promotion

Call it cliche but I’m cooking Boeuf Bourguignon for my lady on Saturday night. Hopefully pair it with a nice Pinot or Cab and follow it up with something chocolate. Sunday brunch at one of our favorite spots – Brasserie. Off work for MLK on Monday so shop with her till she drops (which is much later than when I drop).
I’ve never cooked Boeuf Bourguignon so a class from Stock Pot sure would help out tremendously! Breakfast at Cosi before shopping, re-energizing Grinders at Bellacino, flying shrimp dinner at Shogun. That is a perfect Valentine’s Day! Are TUMS included as well?
Keep up the great work Tulsa Food Blog!

There is talk of a road trip to this little hole in the wall steakhouse in Kanas, but we haven’t full committed to that yet.
A night at Shogun sounds like perfection. I’m a huge fan. And anyone who knows me knows that Topeca is my #1 favorite coffee on the planet. Also? I work like a block from Cosi. They are excellent.
So what I’m saying is that this giveaway is awesome!

I am new to Tulsa & am so happy to have found this blog! I have been a fan of Topeca coffee for a while now & start each day with a cup (or 5) of Topeca coffee. I love that it is roasted right here in Tulsa! My husband has a big sweet tooth so now I know where to go to find his favorite candies & confections…thanks so much! We plan on spending Valentine’s Day cooking a new French dish we are learning to make at The Stock Pot Thursday night…we’ll see where the wine & fondue leads after that

My husby and a I are foodies through and through and just love to visit locally-owned restaurants when we can. This website has been a great guide when we’re looking for a new spot to try!
Our Valentine’s Day tradition consists of my man planning a fabulous meal (which is a treat because, while I normally do the meal-planning, he is great about picking something delicious, new and special each year!) After we put the kids to bed, we put on some tunes and get in the kitchen together and make culinary magic. This works out perfectly because tables and babysitters can be hard to come by on the Date Night of all date nights! Stress is eliminated and romance is maximized! We’ll usually try to go out to a local spot on a night close to Valentine’s Day. I think this year we may give Shogun a shot!
As for gifts, we love coffee so I think I may pick up a package of Topeka coffee to give, and I’ve got my fingers crossed that my special someone pays a visit to the Stock Pot for a little sometime for me!

In our house, Valentine’s Day is all about the kiddos. I always get my daughter a special treat. She loved the chocolate I got her from Sweet Tooth at Christmas so I’ll probably get some more from there. I love their sugar free goodies. So tasty! Maybe I’ll take her someplace special for lunch. I haven’t been to Cosi yet but I hear great things about it. Or Bellacinos. Or Shogun. So many tasty restaurants listed above! It makes it hard to choose! Maybe I’ll just stay home and play with some of the toys I’ve bought for myself at The Stock Pot.

For Valentine’s Day we are taking the kiddos (3 1/2 and 16 months) to their favorite spot Incredible Pizza for lunch & play! Would love to win this so that I can treat my husband for a change. Since I quit working to stay home with the kids (2 years now) we have cut out most of our eating out. We are foodies & enjoy fine wine as well. He would be so surprised to get to go out somewhere new & the stock pot is somewhere we have always wanted to go. And it would be a fabulous way for the kids & I to be able to show him how much we appreciate him & all he does for our family! He is the best husband & father. Thank you for this awesome giveaway & for your consideration.

I’ll actually be taking my mom out to dinner for her 54th birthday on this year’s Valentine’s Day! She’s a wild woman who loves to cook…I often question her love for cooking to actually be greater than her love for me, her second-born. But, I digress.
A few years back my sister and I took her to the Stock Pot for a cooking class. We made some of my favorite memories that evening – loved the cooking lesson, the tasting and maybe the wine… I’d love to take her again. Perhaps for Mother’s Day!
I’m eager to be spending this Valentine’s Day with the woman who sacrificed so much to bring me around – she’s a pretty cool lady!

Wow! This is an amazing giveaway!
I have a wonderful boyfriend who loves to play around in the kitchen, think weird science experiments but with not so much emphasis on the science part. He comes up with great flavor combinations but neither of us have a good set of basic cooking skills. We could really use some classes at the Stock Pot!
The boyfriend has an indoor soccer game on Valentine’s day so we’ll probably have dinner Saturday instead, maybe double date with my awesome sister and her equally awesome boyfriend at Shogun! That’s our go to place when celebrations are in order.
Thanks for all of the hard work that goes into your blog!

Haven’t finalized V-Day plans yet, though will probably keep it lowkey. Maybe I will cook a romantic dinner. I love to cook and, therefore always enjoy browsing through the wonderful things at The Stockpot. Shogun is a favorite place of ours as well. The food is really good and it kind of feels like your not in Tulsa for a bit. I can tell you, I’ve gone through a lot of Topeca Coffee in the last year or so. I love knowing that it’s local and that the beans are freshly roasted!

This Valentines Day, I’m hoping my boyfriend will surprise me with something special. I used to be stationed with the military in Japan and introduced him to teppanyaki when we met. We try to eat at Shoguns whenever we get a chance. I’d love to take cooking classes at the Stockpot because we travel in an RV for my boyfriend’s job as a pipeliner and creativity in cooking would break up the monotony in a tiny kitchen. A gift basket would really help us enjoy this Valentines Day while we’re at home before we have to get back on the road again.

We’re going to Ti Amo, where we’ve gone the past two years, but we’ll also be enjoying the best from Sweet Tooth (LOVE that place, especially for little tsochkies to give the friends and fam), and our USUAL date spot is Shogun (the fiance LOOOOVES it, would love to move in!!) so, we just wanted to switch things up for VDay. Unfortunately we will probably be having Valentine’s dinner at McDonalds midway between Tulsa and OKC! We are exhibiting at An Affair of the Heart which ends on 2/14 and after packing up we will be heading home rather than having a romantic dinner. So we will have to make a cheeseburger as romantic as possible

My husband is going to be knee-deep in grad school papers on Sunday (Georgetown + online program = heavy work load and weekend deadlines), so our plan is to get to the Coffee House on Cherry Street (one of the original Topeka outlets!) early and stake out the side room by the door. We’ll have breakfast, he’ll research like crazy, and I’ll bribe the baristas into making foam hearts in his dirty chai!

He actually invited us to the bar after dinner and treated us to several rounds of Saki. Great people! I highly recommend them consantly to friends because of the great memories they provided me and the wife. I think I just decided where to take her for valentines day which by the way is when we were engaged. I also want to say what a treat it would be to return to te stock pot. Valentines Day is meant to be a fun day in my mind. A day of love, not necessarily just for relationships but for family too. Im single this Valentines Day and so is my Mom so we are trying to figure out what we are going to do. The day should not go to waste. My mom is taking Friday off for work so we are making the entire weekend into a girls weekend. Friday we are seeing the movie Valentines Day, then im taking my mom to Big Al’s Health Food for lunch. Then Bellacino pizza and some movies for the rest of the day. Saturday is a chill day. But then Sunday its still up in the air. There isnt alot of money so gift cards would open up so many options. My mom works long weeks so i would really love to take her out to Shoguns and get her a good steak without having to worry about a budget. I really hope i win this so i can treat my mom for all the work she oes during the week.

The best way to start my Valentine’s Day is with a cup of Topeka coffee. I am partial to the Breakfast Blend, makes a perfect start to ones day. Then after a nice walk along the riverfront we will go see Valentine’s Day at the movies. Dinner will be garlic linguini with pan seared scallops just for the two of us. I was in charge of the entree, they are creating a special dessert, I have the champagne already chilling for that part of dinner.

As a newly stay at home mother to a 7 month old teething baby girl who refuses to take naps most days, this Valentine’s day will have me daydreaming of emerging from my sleep deprived state, taking a luxuriously long shower, getting dressed up, getting a babysitter and eating at Shogun. Ah, to have a meal in a restaurant or even to have the oppportunity to cook one at home with some instruction from the Stock Pot would be devine this Valentine’s. But then, the aroma from my Topeca coffee brewing in the kitchen brings me back to reality. We will likely stay in and order a Bellacino’s 8? Pizza and maybe my husband will buy me some Sweet Tooth candy!
